About The Hope Exchange
Sara Kerr, Carrie Roark, and the name that carries Bradley's legacy forward.
The Hope Exchange by Roark Kerr & Associates is a small Christian life coaching practice on 82nd Street in Lubbock. It has one office, two coaches, and a name that was chosen on purpose, after a loss the whole community felt.

How the practice started, and why the name changed
Same mission, renewed name.
Bradley Roark earned his counseling degree in 2008 and started Roark Christian Counseling in Columbia, Missouri. In 2014 he brought the practice home to Lubbock, where he had grown up.
Sara Kerr began training under Bradley in 2018, working toward becoming his business partner. She earned her Life Coaching Certification in 2020, and in 2023 the two of them established Roark Kerr & Associates Christian Counseling & Coaching.
Bradley died on 2 October 2024. In their own words, he “met his savior face to face” and left behind a legacy of hope, compassion, empathy, faith and love, through his family, his friends and his clients.
In the months after, Sara wanted to do something that commemorated the legacy of being what Bradley called a Hope Dealer, so she renamed the business The Hope Exchange. The mission did not change. With this renewed name, it remains their deepest desire to keep exchanging hope for hopelessness, and to be a safe place for anyone they come in contact with, in person or virtually.
Hope. Traded Daily.
