Why the name changed
Bradley called himself a Hope Dealer.
Bradley Roark took his counseling degree in 2008 and started Roark Christian Counseling in Columbia, Missouri. In 2014 he brought it home to Lubbock. Sara Kerr began training with him in 2018, earned her certification in 2020, and in 2023 the two of them established Roark Kerr & Associates.
Bradley died on 2 October 2024. In the months after, Sara renamed the practice The Hope Exchange, so that what he called himself would stay on the door. The mission did not change. Hope, traded for hopelessness, daily.

Before you call
The things people ask first.
Sessions are $125 for roughly an hour. We charge for the time rather than the appointment type, so the fee is the same whether you come on your own, as a couple, or as a family. If cost is the thing standing in your way, ask us about it when we speak.
We are not able to process insurance claims. It is worth asking about discounts when you meet your coach. We would rather talk it through with you than have money quietly decide the matter.
Sessions usually run about an hour. Some people come two or three times and feel ready to carry on alone. Others stay with it far longer. On average we suggest planning for four to eight, then deciding together where you are.
Sara Kerr, a Certified Life Coach and the owner, and Carrie Roark, also a Certified Life Coach. Sara trained under Bradley Roark from 2018 and earned her certification in 2020.
Yes. Virtual coaching is one of the ways we work, and it is how we reach people across West Texas and eastern New Mexico who cannot easily get to 82nd Street. The office is open Monday to Thursday, 8am to 7pm.
It is faith based, and we say so plainly. Our coaching looks at your situation through a spiritual lens as well as a practical one. If that is what you have been looking for, you will feel at home here.
