Seven ways we work
Every session runs about an hour and costs the same whether you come on your own, as a couple, or as a family. What changes is what we spend it on.

One to one, faith based
For anyone who wants to grow, or who is carrying painful emotions, distorted thinking or behavior they have stopped being able to explain to themselves. We look at it through a spiritual lens as well as a practical one.
Read about christian life coachingFor couples, together
Marriage is a beautiful union, and it is not always easy. Even strong relationships hit something that tests the foundation. We work on the conflict underneath the argument, and on how the two of you talk when it matters.
Read moreSix sessions, before the wedding
An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. Six sessions to do the work most couples only get to years later, starting with what a Christian marriage actually asks of you.
Read moreA block of sessions, condensed
For when weekly is too slow. A concentrated run of sessions to get further, faster, without leaving your family or your job to do it.

Going beyond step work. We do not just look at the behavior, we look at the person underneath it and at what the habit has been standing in for.

The same coaching, delivered online. It is how we reach people across West Texas and eastern New Mexico who cannot easily get to 82nd Street on a weekday.

The best way to develop your business is to develop your people. Executive coaching, leadership training, employee assistance and team workshops, built around what your organization actually values.

You do not need to have it worded neatly before you call. Naming it is usually the first thing we do together.

Painful emotions
Something that has stopped moving on its own and has started setting the terms of your week.

Distorted thinking
The story you have been telling yourself about who you are, when it no longer matches the evidence and is costing you something.

A relationship worth saving
Often both people are tired rather than unwilling, and that is workable.

Wanting more than this
Just a sense that you were made for more than the shape your life has settled into.

Why the name changed
Bradley Roark took his counseling degree in 2008 and started Roark Christian Counseling in Columbia, Missouri. In 2014 he brought it home to Lubbock. Sara Kerr began training with him in 2018, earned her certification in 2020, and in 2023 the two of them established Roark Kerr & Associates.
Bradley died on 2 October 2024. In the months after, Sara renamed the practice The Hope Exchange, so that what he called himself would stay on the door. The mission did not change. Hope, traded for hopelessness, daily.
In their own words

We have seen Sara for almost 4 years now and she has made such a positive impact in my life and marriage. I honestly do not think we would be where we are today if it was not for heart felt guidance and support. She isn’t just a life coach, she is a friend, a mentor, and a true Christian.
If you are looking for an extra boost in life this is the place to go. Sara has been amazing at helping me navigate through life's challenges. I have developed a new positive way of looking at myself and at life. Thank you Sara for all that you do!
Sara is very approachable and can read people very well. She then can take that and apply her knowledge and experiences to help deal with the issues. I didn't think I would be able to share my thoughts and feelings, but she made me feel comfortable. I was able to open up to her very easily.
Sara has taken the helm and continues caring for my family now that Bradley is gone. I don't know where we would be without Roark Kerr & Associates!
Before you call

Hope. Traded Daily.
We are not able to file insurance claims, so we would rather be plain about the money than have it quietly decide the matter. Ask about discounts when we speak. Most people plan for four to eight sessions and we work out together when you are ready to go on without us.
